Russian Art and Literature

Abstract

Based on the book of Evgheni Vodolazkin, “Laur” which revives the memory of the great Russian writers like Dostoevsky and Tolstoy, we have analyzed the specificity of this Russian contemporary master of words in connection to Russian art, in an attempt to encapsulate the features of this culture regarded from two perspectives which complement each other, from our point of view: literature – the art of words and art –the poetry of colours and feelings.
